Dominion Riverrock, organized is the nation's largest outdoor sports and music festival, bringing athletes, spectators, musicians, and even dogs to Brown?s Island for a three-day festival against the backdrop of downtown Richmond?s urban river front. The festival features a variety of outdoor sports including trail running, kayaking, biking, bouldering, slacklining, stand up paddleboarding, and dog jumping. The event was designed to promote Richmond?s unique riverfront, downtown trails and whitewater rapids to outdoor enthusiasts. As a result of the creation of Dominion Riverrock, there is a stronger appreciation for the value of outdoor recreation throughout the entire Richmond region.

Lost and Found

In its third year, this is a 100-mile gravel road bicycle race starting and ending at Lake Davis, will take place Saturday, June 4th, 2016. Last year 484 intrepid souls lined up to ride a route that looped around Lake Davis, headed north through Red Clover Valley, then dropped into Genesee Valley before climbing back and returning to Lake Davis. Shorter 60- and 30- mile options will be available. Riders competing in the full 100-miler were faced with over 7000? of climbing on a route that was 80% gravel. There were many flat tires.
