Brewed in Mills River during our annual Employee Beer Camp, this brown ale features nine varieties of specialty malt that bring out notes of dark chocolate, toffee, and caramel. This complex malt profile balances out the heat from native Carolina Reaper peppers, which we added to the beer after aging in freshly-emptied Kentucky bourbon barrels for one year.
