Mochi Moshi

The Details

As the warm weather returned to our corner of the world, we were craving an ultra-crisp, refreshing beer, so we decided to brew our take on the Japanese rice lager style with floral, citrusy Loral hops. A perfect companion for seafood and sultry summer days, these lagers are typically very light, both in body and color thanks to the ample use of rice in the brewing process.  The name is an endearing mash-up of the traditional Japanese telephone greeting “Moshi Moshi”, and Mochi rice cakes, a favorite holiday treat in Japan.
