Africa Unplugged

Join us in High Gravity at the Sierra Nevada Taproom in Mills River on Saturday, December 22nd from 1pm to 4pm for a free show with Africa Unplugged.

Africa Unplugged is a dynamic group, led by djembe master, guitarist and songwriter, Atiba Rorie. The band uses traditional percussion instruments from West Africa in combination with guitars and bass to play traditional rhythms while drawing from influences across the world. Their creativity results in a funky, soulful blues and dance music that keeps you moving as they tell stories from the old world and the new!

The Clydes Holiday Show

Join us in High Gravity at the Sierra Nevada Taproom in Mills River on Sunday, December 23rd from 2pm to 5pm for a free Holiday show with The Clydes.

The Clyde’s are a hard working, heavily touring bluegrass and Americana act from North Carolina. With impressive pickers and moving harmonies, they have made their way around the globe in their short time together. On stage, their performance is energetic and real and their songs are sometimes sad but always hit home.

The Clydes have put together a special Holiday Set for this show that should not be missed.

Zapato is a six armed beast from deep within the mountains on Western North Carolina. Featuring guitarist Jamie Hendrickson and drummer Michael Tillis of The Fritz, the group is a supersonic force to be reckoned with. From deep grooves to ascending peaks, the trio takes audiences on a wild and climactic journey. The group also advocates for responsible pet ownership.
