Rickey Shoomaker
The bourbon rickey cocktail has a long history, originally created and served in the 1880s at Shoomaker's bar in Washington, D.C. We drew inspiration from this timeless American mixed drink to craft a unique and refreshing barrel-aged beer. The base beer is a tart gose style which was aged for six months in bourbon barrels and conditioned with a saison yeast. After aging, we added fresh lime juice for a tangy and delicious beer that is surprisingly light on the palate.
