We invest in the well-being of our team. We set the bar high, our employees meet it—often exceed it—and hard work deserves affirmation. Things like competitive pay, on-site medical clinics, wellness programs and, yes, a ‘beer buck’ voucher with each paycheck. We can’t expect your long-term commitment without proving our own.
Discover our three locations, explore the rich history of the company, follow stories about life at the brewery, and plenty more.

Whether it’s a sprawling municipal park, or a restaurant scene deemed a “foodie dreamland,” each Sierra Nevada location is home to variety.
Ken Grossman ditched the city whenever he could. Going off-grid, that’s where he found thrills and life’s answers. Climbing in the Sierra Nevada mountains, Ken’s bold idea took shape: build a brewery. Naming it would be easy.
Take Me BackMike Somich took a personal passion and saw its potential for the brewery. Now, tucked under our forest canopy, two dozen “log cabins” grow mushrooms for the Taproom.
Barrel-aging blends alchemy and artistry, and ideas can bloom anywhere—like in a peach orchard. Our program started small; it reaches nationwide today.
The kitchen line can be a grind, so we help the team mix things up with in-house classes to build new skills. Doesn’t get more hands-on than whole-hog butchery.
How about you, what’s your ideal work? Peering into a microscope? Fabricating in a machine shop? Designing beautiful graphics? Our career opportunities are vast, so watch for one that suits you.
Shortcuts are everywhere, but we instead take the long view. (The next generation deserves it.) Use our interactive maps to explore how we slash our environmental impact at both breweries, from a next-level “reduce, reuse, recycle” mindset to generating alternative energy onsite.
Explore The MapsWe believe freedom is in the great outdoors. But if we don’t step up, our trails die out. We’re committed to protecting our gateways to adventure, and as a teammate, you could join the action and advocacy.
