CarolinAloha is the melding of three loves: the Mountains, the Ocean, and Music. Founded by Billy Cardine, a master of all things slide, Billy finds inspiration from the beautiful Hawaiian music tradition. CarolinAloha has been featured at the Waikiki Steel Guitar Festival in Oahu, the Kona Steel Guitar Festival in Kona, and The Station Inn in Nashville, TN; Billy’s playing has been featured within a wide variety of genres from gypsy jazz to bluegrass all over North America, India, and Europe on stages such as Bonnaroo, The Grand Ole Opry, MerleFest, Carnegie Hall, The Ryman Auditorium and Rockygrass, to name a few. Surrounded by an alternating cast of stellar, emotive and joyful musicians, CarolinAloha brings heartfelt Hawaiian vibes to the mountains of North Carolina and beyond.
