Ready to Get Strainge, Santa Barbara?

It’s time to get Strainge like only Santa Barbara can. Join us Thursday for a spectacular bar crawl through downtown. Saturday and Sunday, the Summer Solstice Festival will be in full swing – celebrating astonishing local talent, hip live music, giant puppets, vibrant costumes and more.

It’s going to be a jam-packed weekend of extraordinary fun. If you like showing your colors, this is your chance shine! The weather is looking fine, so come on out. You can’t miss us. We’ll be the ones getting Strainge to that distinctive Santa Barbara vibe.

Must be 21+ to participate, street and lot parking.

Three stop bar crawl in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara. Live music, Strainge drink station, samples and giveaways.

Summer Solstice Festival Day One | 4pm – 9pm

The festival is free and open to the public and will include a full musical line up both days as well as a variety of food and merchant vendors. A beer and wine garden will be open both days to those 21 & over only. ID’s will be checked at the entrance.

Friday is a nod to “evening events of years past”. It’s a special evening, showcasing local talents with music, dance and performances. Some of the parade ensembles are featured as well as all of the food booths, a wine and beer garden and delightful collection of arts and crafts vendors.

Summer Solstice Festival Day Two | 12pm – 8pm

The festival is free and open to the public and will include a full musical line up both days as well as a variety of food and merchant vendors. A beer and wine garden will be open both days to those 21 & over only. ID’s will be checked at the entrance.

Saturday, the Summer Solstice Celebration has evolved into creative and original display of floats, giant puppets, whimsical costumes and masks of more than 1,000 parade participants of all ethnic and economic backgrounds. There is dancing, music, drumming and drama that enthralls the spectators. Each year there is an annual artistic competition for the Solstice T-Shirt and Poster design that is sold as a fundraising vehicle for the event.
