Easy to drink and easy to love, this quintessential Chico beer is brewed with malted wheat and barley, balanced by Crystal hops. It’s our tribute to the Old Chico Brewery — pictured on the label — which operated from 1865–1899.

Chico 101: Our Town

In the northern wilds of California at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, there sits a special place called Chico. From the first Mechoopda residents to frontier days and now as a beloved city, Chico has remained a tight-knit community over the centuries. This spirit of the West is evident in the local pride and deep appreciation of natural beauty like Bidwell Park and Big Chico Creek.

Our Old Chico Crystal Wheat, with its mellow mouthful of hops, lends a nod to the birthplace of our brewery. Inspired by the carefree days of Chico’s past, this one's a win for football games and family reunions.
