DETAILS
The Big EZs is a local Asheville band that plays the soul and funk songs of New Orleans legends like Dr. John, The Neville Brothers, Allen Toussaint, The Meters, Earl King, Alvin Robinson, Lee Dorsey, Professor Longhair, The Wild Tchoupitoulas, and Snooks Eaglin; as well as classic songs from southern soul and blues founding fathers Ray Charles, James Brown, Otis Redding, Howling Wolf, Muddy Waters and Taj Mahal.
The Big EZs resulted from a collaboration between some of the most versatile, talented and in-demand session and performing musicians in the Asheville area: Parrish Ellis on vocals/guitar, Evan Martin on drums/vocals, Zack Page on bass/vocals, Taylor Peasron on piano, Jason Moore on saxophone, and Jonathan Lloyd on trombone and percussion.
