Three great Chico bands will be performing at this benefit for “Friends of Butte Creek”, a local non-profit organization that helps protect, preserve and enhance the wildlife habitat in the Butte Creek watershed.

THE FUNNELS – Voted Best Band in Chico 6 years in a row, the Funnels have been keeping Chico dancing since the mid 80’s. Eventually deemed “Living Legends” by the Chico News and Review. Their upbeat originals and mix of 80’s and 90’s covers will keep you dancing.

Michael Russel Trio – Michael Russel is a guitarist, singer, songwriter out of Northern California and Nashville. Michael Russell’s stone cold blues guitar licks, old school rock ‘n’ roll energy, and timeless songwriting style make him and the Michael Russell Trio a refreshing addition to the modern blues and roots rock scene.

Cole Marquis and Mike Cloward – Cole and Mike were members of “28th Day” with Barbara Manning and Mammoth Records artists “the Downsiders”. Both bands originating in Chico and going on to national success. Cole also formed the SF Based band ‘The Snowmen”. Mike has 30+ years of experience as a musician, label owner and Publisher with a consistent emphasis on independent music and the folks that make it.
