Lorna Such w/ LabRats

Lorna Such is a Chico based original seven piece band blending groove driven soul, funk, and jazz with rich melodic songwriting. Anchored by deep rhythms and vibrant horn lines, their music is thoughtful and infectious- songs explore change, love, and personal blossoming, delivered with warmth, feel, and undeniable groove. Members of the Lorna Such band have won multiple Chico CAMMIES awards, including Best Live Act, Best Female Vocalist, Best Keyboard, and Best Bassist.

LabRats is a dynamic quartet of multi-instrumentalists, who create a unique blend of jazz fusion, and hip hop. Shortly after the band’s formation, LabRats has proven itself to be an integral part of the Northern California music scene. LabRats, performing all over Sacramento and the Bay Area, has their growing fanbase clamoring for more of their smooth yet psychedelic sounds. The band has played sold out shows at SF Jazz, The Crest Theater, and have shared the stage with artists such at Tower of Power, Kamasi Washington, Talib Kweli, and more.
