The High Top Boys

High Top Boys is an all-star conglomerate of Asheville-based players from bands that include Brushfire Stankgrass, Town Mountain, and The Greenliners. The band is fronted by Brushfire front man Ben Saylor on banjo, with his brother Will on guitar, Phillip Barker on mandolin and Christian Ferri on bass. You can expect an array of material that ranges from bluegrass to originals and covers that very much hedge on the jammier/funkier side of the hillbilly music spectrum.
