An Advocate for Access
A self-proclaimed big mountain skier, writer, and adventurer, Griffin somehow balances writing for respected ski magazines, starring in Teton Gravity Research ski films regularly, and still finding time for personal expeditions in the wild.
Griffin’s outdoor passion includes caring for those very public lands he explores. “One of the greatest assets we have is our shared public spaces,” he says, “and with that comes a responsibility to protect those places for future generations.” He is an advocate for responsible stewardship to help preserve access to open spaces, from big to small.
An insatiable curiosity inspires Griffin’s adventures, and perseverance spurs him on against backcountry challenges. “As readily as information is available today, it’s important to remember that sometimes, the only way to figure something out is for yourself.”
