Forging a Path

From a young age, Robin was a competitor, pushing herself at all times with a “what’s next” mentality. She grew up in Vancouver Island, BC, taking annual ski trips with her family to SilverStar. After shifting from skiing to snowboarding in her teens, a fire was lit and she never looked back.

She’s been a leader in the snowboarding industry for over a decade, whether it’s winning competitions, guiding backcountry tours, or starring in adventure films. In particular, Robin hopes to inspire and coach a new generation of female athletes. Her five-part FABRIC documentary series highlights game-changing women in action sports who have not only contributed to surfing, skating, and snowboarding, but have influenced their communities and cultures at large.

Robin — “There is nothing that I love more than spending time immersed in the mountains, ocean, and forest”

At the end of the day, Robin believes that time spent in nature helps to keep us all human and alive. “There is nothing that I love more than spending time immersed in the mountains, ocean, and forest,” she says. There’s joy in every moment outdoors, whether that’s atop a peak or in the dirt at home, weeding the summer garden.
