The name comes from Muscle Shoals, the band comes from Asheville, NC and the sounds come from every corner of American Roots Music.

When Hustle Souls say they play Americana music, they are not just referencing the brand of intellectual country music from Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt that this title was created to describe; Hustle Souls brand of Americana pulls from a comprehensive canon at the root of American Music, from New Orleans brass and Caribbean rhythms to Motown soul, Delta Blues and jubilant Gospel.

Hustle Souls is an Asheville, NC based soul band who blend dust-covered-vinyl nostalgia with modern sensibility; recently named a Music Connection Magazine Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists & Bands.
